By accessing or using Hubbi ("the Service"), operated by Hubbi ("we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Hubbi is a healthcare coordination platform that helps families manage and coordinate care for elderly family members. The Service includes:
- Medication tracking and reminders
- Appointment scheduling and management
- Secure document storage for medical records
- Family member collaboration and role-based access
- Doctor access and collaboration tools
- Medical facility management
- Real-time notifications and updates
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must:
- Provide a valid email address
- Be at least 13 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Keep your account credentials secure
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
- Use the Service to store data unrelated to healthcare coordination
- Share access credentials with unauthorized individuals
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service
5. Health Information Disclaimer
Hubbi is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The Service is a coordination tool to help families organize healthcare information. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of information accessed through the Service.
Medication reminders are provided as a convenience and should not be relied upon as the sole method of medication management. Users are responsible for verifying medication schedules with their healthcare providers.
6. Family Groups and Shared Access
The Service allows you to create family groups and invite other users. When you share data within a family group:
- Admins can manage members, patients, and all family data
- Caregivers can add and edit medications, appointments, and documents
- Viewers have read-only access to family data
You are responsible for ensuring that you have appropriate authorization to share patient information within your family group. By inviting members or granting doctor access, you confirm that you have the legal authority to share the relevant health information.
7. Doctor Access
You may grant healthcare providers access to patient records through the Service. By doing so, you acknowledge that:
- You have the authority to share the patient's health information
- The healthcare provider will be able to view the data you share
- You can revoke access at any time through the Service
- We are not responsible for how healthcare providers use the shared information
8. User Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service (documents, notes, records). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it as necessary to provide the Service.
You are responsible for ensuring that content you upload does not violate any third-party rights and that you have the legal right to upload and share it.
9. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled or emergency maintenance
- Infrastructure provider outages
- Force majeure events
We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of scheduled maintenance.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, logos, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hubbi and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use of or inability to use the Service
- Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in the Service
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Actions or inactions of third-party service providers
- Missed medication reminders or appointment notifications
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hubbi from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
13. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the Service settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:
- Your access to the Service will be revoked
- Your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy
- Any shared data within family groups may be retained for other members
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and, where appropriate, sending you an email notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
